CALENDAR COLLECTIONS
Calendar collections is a self directed project that I started at the beginning of January 2025. As someone that has always kept a written diary I wanted to explore the idea of making a diary purely from visuals, specifically scraps of paper, torn up bits of magazines, typography and textures that I had come across during that day. I want to tell a unique story, experience and emotion via shape and collage. Collage has always been something that I have felt comfortable using so it felt like an obvious choice of material.
A common theme that was coming up was typography, I decided to explore this further through hand drawing ‘January.’ The type and collage had a dynamic feel so I created a GIF.
